So who got their AVPs today?!

I think is DX9 or DX11 only so since I only have a GTX260 here are some DX9 screenshots....max settings of course. Shame you don't get the option of DX10 like in other recent games. Most comparable is probably Crysis.

The red fps figures are when I was recording in Fraps.

Epic RAM usage:

I guess it would have used more had it been a 64bit game executable - shame it doesn't look or perform as well as other games.

If your card supports DX10 stick the game in DX11 mode it will increase performance but wont use DX11 specific features.

I'd have to say, the Wasteland looks a tad stupid with green trees.

Some more Call of Pripyat. 1680x1050 since i forgot to change it on High not Maximum.

A nice view of the Container storage where a Stalker is being held by Bandits in the twilight of a lightning storm, beautiful for taking shots when it flashes.

And the lovely zoom of the high contrast scope before i headshot the Bandit near his friends.

Do you honestly need PNG files for that 800x600 shot of a burger game that last image took over a minute to load. I actually typed and posted this before it finished.

We need a png ban in this thread IMO.

I agree, it takes forever to load up all the pictures, were not all on 10meg+ connections, some of us are stuck with ~1.5

Someone recently posted a link to a free program that will save as high quality jpegs with virtually no noticable difference. Ive been using it and its really good

I'm not sure about retail, but Steam offers 3 options. Launch, launch dx9, and launch dx11. Plain launch just goes with what your system supports. Dx10 in my case.

Anyway, you can check in the graphics option menu. It says your dx version under the AvP title.
