Ah cheers man, would you say it's more jumpy than some of the HL2 bits? I'm guessing it would - since pretty much 2 thirds of the game is set in dark tunnels. It's a shame though because it looks REALLY good but I know I won't sleep after playing it for 10 mins. :P

Try it... it's not that bad really... it's just jumpy - not particularly scary or anything... I don't think it's something you'll lose sleep over - it's not that kind of jumpy, if you know what i mean... lol... hard to describe!

try it in the morning, so you've forgotten about it by bed time :) hehe

Penumbra: Overture

If you can get past the old graphics, this is a must to play if you're into scary games. Great atmosphere and game play, highly recommended.

Anyone know how to take screenshots from X3 : Terran Conflict?
i have been playing it (My god VERY complicated) but i cant take any screens of it which it is very nice looking but i press the F9 - in the manual this is meant to be the screen print button but all i get is a black screen - any ideas?

You could try using fraps http://www.fraps.com/ has a hotkey that you hit and it saves the screeny straight to your hard-drive. ;)

i think printscreen does it and puts it into the correct folder, if not you can always throw it quickly into paint and save it.

Personally I couldn't get into this at all due to the complete lack of weapons in the game :(

It's a game where you're supposed to sneak your way around instead of fighting with everything, that's why they've made your character so weak. You do have the hammer in your inventory, however you could improvise and use the rocks lying around to kill things. I'd give it another shot and see if you can get into it.
