The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

Apparently there's a single player element to the game - perhaps the first part of the game is single player and then you get dumped into the MMO world.

Unless they took that out/held it back from beta.

For the first twenty levels (excluding the tutorial to get to the first town) you can do it either solo or multiplayer, if you do it solo, you do it in the day, and are still connected to the servers, if you want to do it multiplayer, you go to tavern, sleep till night time and a put into the MMO.

Hope that explains it a bit better.

Almost right. When yuo get off the beach and enter Tortage you can do yur Destiny quests at night time which is solo play but you're still connected to the server, have guild functions chat window etc but pretty much in your own instance of tortage.

To get to day time and group up with your guild/friends you can go to the thirsty dog inn and either sleep or talk to your trainer to change to daytime.

Ever since I started using vista I haven't been able to play DiRT. This time I decided to not install the patch. It works perfect now. Doesn't have any of the sound glithes or hanging issues either.

All settings on full aswell.
