that's right a class 35 planet.

it was a 29 so i rush researched radioactive colonisation to grab it quick, but when i got there there was an event and the evil option (Massachusetts the native population and use them for fertilizer) increased planet quality by another 22%, and this is before any improvements to the soil/weather control so it's going to be at least 40+ when i'm finished.

Now the hard choice, epic research planet, insane production planet to produce fleets or the happiest planet in the galaxy with purely entertainment buildings, farms and economy buildings sop i can cram 30 billion ****ed off people on there and tax them at 80% :p

Here's a couple from the BFBC2 single player campaign.. rather enjoyable actually, much better than I was expecting from what I thought would be bonus material tacked on to a multiplayer game :)

Another batch of shots from the BFBC2 single player campaign; I've just finished it, and it took 6 hours - not feature length buy any stretch of the imagination, but some brilliant scenes (I decided not to post some of the best screenshots, as they're full of spoilers!).

More happy people = more money = more planets to do ship building on.

I tend to find making one planet churn out a large portion of your ships is counter productive! Keep them spread out man!

I'm pretty sure the AI is going to want a piece of that baby, I say it would make some nice bait!

thing is my people are naturally happy (very happy in fact) and they're super breeders, on my capitol during the colony rush phase i was knocking out a ship every 3 turn and fully loading it and by the time the next one was done my population was still at max on that planet :p

Plus by the time you get to 25+ billion people I think it's pretty much imposable to keep their happiness above 40%

The Void

By far this is best game I've played this year. Such a unique experience, you can keep your MW2 and latest NFS, this is the sort of stuff I love about PC gaming:).
