the only AA is the blur AA that amd just brought out or the fake AA that destroyes your fps from that mod.

googling i cant find any nhancer way that works for nvidia...

Sorry mate, I turned 'AA' on as the game calls it to x8 and it doesn't seem to do anything, it's blocky as hell

Although I think any gamer knows that they are Half Life 2 (with Fake Factory mod?) and Crysis or Crysis Warhead.

It is indeed Half Life 2 with Fake Factory Cinematic 10 mod, I have it instaled also

is that on your spec in your sig?
i have a marginally better one but was put off with getting these sorts of mods for HL2 as i thought it would run poorly, whats it like for you framerate wise?

Yes, that's my current spec friend(although I'm waiting for my new mobo and thanks to some friendly advice from some very helpful members of this forum I'm now looking for a dual core to fit). The game runs superb at 1280x800, all settings on highest, with AAx2. Frame rate varies between 30 and 40fps. I would recommend giving it a try. You do have to own Hl2, Ep1 and Ep2 and have them all installed with at least one save game each. Also they say to run the light version with 32bit Windows and the full version with 64 bit Windows but after initially running the light version I'm now running the full version on 32 bit Xp with no problems. No problem friend. It gives the game a much more modern look while still retaining the great Half-Life atmosphere. Good luck and if you want to get the 3d menu screen backgrounds working again(by default the mod disables them)and re-enable the original difficulty settings(the mod is harder by default - even on Easy)let me know and I'll tell you how.
