well the player camera is done as if there's an actual camera man present at all times, albeit an invisible one, similar to a raw 'you're there' movie style - Cloverfield being an example. It works really nicely in the game. When you run for instance, the camera runs behind you as if it's a camera man trying to keep up.

Yeh, for a lot of people it's gone totally unnoticed. I enjoyed this far more than Mafia 2, which I think shares a very similar mechanic of gameplay - cover/shoot system wise. (more so than other TPS with cover systems)

I hope it sold a few more copies in the recent sales Steam sales as for once they put more effort into the PC version & it shows when you play this game
The console versions look horrible they just cannot handle the FPS/Detail for long PC version is still under £8 at retail on many websites & a fantastic bargin for anyone who has not yet bought this excellent gritty & highly adult game
I bought on initial release & still have both those games
Almost every review nowadays involves a subtle backhander (advertising or otherwise) so publishers who do not play that game & let the quality stand alone tend to get poor reviews unfortunately....
So many decent games get slated when they are excellent & well worth buying!!
That's not max settings is it? I'm sure I remember the character models looking an aweful lot better.

Wow that looks awesome! Really like this shot.
She still looks amazing, with a little help from the Fakefactory Cinematic Mod 10.
Have never completed the game, far too many HDD wipes and forgetting to save the save, thus played it 1/2 way through about 5 times then got bored. Finally hit it this xmas and it really is still the best game I have played, nothing can come close in terms of gameplay, how well it runs, the atmosphere and especially the soundtrack which seems to be taken from Batman 'The Dark Night'.
