The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

I'm playing it on pc with an xbox controller. Its definitely worth getting one. I use it for all kinds of games Grid, Dirt 2, racing games its a must. Batman AA, Just Cause 2, Grand Theft Auto 4, Darksiders. There the sort of games that dont require precision aiming but more, analogue controls, and quick responses.

I'm used to controllers though(came from consoles to pc), I can play fps with a controller although I prefer a mouse for aiming. Its also nice to be able to sit back instead of being hunched over the keyboard.

Think i'll have to grab darksiders and a controller.

I have the logitech gt5 steering wheel, not sure its PC compatable, guess i should invest in gt5 though, some of the Crysis screenshots are amazing on here.

Lots of Mass Effect 2:

how much is that going to affect FPS in General? not just talking about Dead Space

When I put mipmap up I saw no change really and aniso 16 dropped it by around 10 on my 4850.

I usually average around 40. You won't see a big hit, I'm not sure what card you've got. And plus I havn't looked at your sig if you've got it there. :p

Some Crysis shots, ULTRA SETTING + 4AA . Re-played it a week ago (first time played 2 years ago on HD4870 medium) once maxed out it's completely different experience, Incredible game+ incredible graphics

amazing how some of it looks so real, especially in the woods! Need to make time to play it now i have a 570, played it through on 8800GTS first and only time and bought Warhead with the expectation that i'd play it once i could max it (that was two years ago :D).

Great shots! Any mods on that?
Thanks, no, just original Crysis

It looks really amazing, I played probably all fps since 2007 and graphics are still one of the best, will play Warhead soon too (first time played on HD4870 medium)

Photobucket(free version) will resize them if they are over 1MB in filesize, most image editing apps allow you to set the compression when saving a jpeg to make them a smaller filesize.
If you are uploading directly from your fraps/game screenshots folder they might have the lowest compression rate/largest jpeg file size.
I think opening a jpeg in paint and re-saving it adds a noticeable amount of compression which might be enough to get it under 1MB :)
