Started playing Mafia 2 last night. I must say I'm extremely impressed with how it runs and looks on my 8800GT.

And...the combat, both shooting and hand-to-hand, is so much smoother and less clunky than GTA4.

Because Rift didn't look that clean when I was in Beta for stage 2,3 and 4. No AA was applicable that's for sure

Yes, I'm photoshopping screenshots :rolleyes:

it's probably just the jpeg compression making it look better. Supersampling is turned on, makes a massive difference but I have to cut back on some of the other settings.

I dunno, i always thought the mods you could get for Stalker made the sky look beyond awesome, especially during a blowout where it was sometimes tempting to just watch it instead of hiding.

In two minds whether I like JC 2's graphics.

On the one hand its beautiful and you can see for ages,

On the other hand its cartoony almost to the point of looking cell shaded.
