I like the way landscape looks from high altitude. Unlike most engines it keeps or adds detail the higher you are rather then lose it.

Love Far Cry 2's graphics, i only wish the game had more wildlife, like Crocs in the water, Lions, Tigers, Hyenas, Elephants etc.

I liked playing FC2 but it always annoyed me when i drove back through a checkpoint where I had just taken everyone out and it had respawned :mad:

Also why did everyone want to shoot me, no one waited to be shot at first

DA2 actually looks better than that - must be the compression.

I am quite impressed with the graphics, over the demo anyway. Not as bad as everyone was making out.

It's probably Steams crappy screenshot compression. It looks good in the flesh and runs very smooth. Here's one from DA2's inbuilt screenshot thingy.

it's very pretty for an mmo but the shots of things other than a sky are a bit behind the times as it were.

Rift looks really nice, you have to factor in potentially 100's of people in one area when making the engine. If you make it look too good, designed for single player / small groups then when you hit a large scale rift with lots of players it will slow down rapidly. There needs to balance, I think they pretty much found it.

What is the 'Texture Pack' my friend? Just bought the game, had £30 on my GAME reward card, so it cost me £5.
