With Crysis 2 on the way i finally got round to playing the first game. I really enjoyed it, i thought the latter part of the game was fine, a lot more fun than Far Crys aliens.

AC Brotherhood, pretty impressed by this actually. Watched this scene for 10 minutes or so and there was a full day/night cycle and all of the city geometry was correctly shadowed (i.e. shadows track the sun). Even the cloud cover projected shadows.

ok, so its not as good as some of the immense stuff you guys are churning out, but im really proud that my £100 graphics card can run crysis 1 at maximum graphics at 1360x768 resolution, even if it is only at 30FPS.

Couple of Crysis 2 shots downscaled to 720p. These were on Very High originally at 1080p.

Downscaled = fail, any game looks much better when downscaled.

Upload full size PNGs instead. I have Crysis 2 and it doesn't look as good as those screenshots make it look. The whole game has a bit of a blur to it.

Damn, deleted the originals from Fraps. Ill try and get some more now:

Website seems to have compressed them a lot. Grrr.

Colours look really washed out and the sharpness is completely gone. Tried Tinypic, but they automatically resized them to 1600x900 or something :confused:
