Went back to Just Cause 2 tonight & cranked up the settings... only played it in 3d on my 570 which was kinda choppy, was nice to whack SSAO on high & enable high-res shadows

On my 570 I had to put SSAO on Low. Left high res shadows on, but set shadows to medium. I get mostly 60fps.
Yeah the frames aren't constantly smooth but I was only mucking around so didn't mind. Thought maybe my CPU was limiting it... I was running only 4xAA on the last shots but turning it up didn't seem to affect performance much anyway.

F1 2011 mod looks good, i noticed the DRS showing which is interesting... it's fully featured right not just eye candy?
Also I never bought the game due to the pit stop issue. Did they fix that, i got the impression Codemasters don't really bother with post release support?

I don't think DRS or KERS have been implemented yet. Will probably need F1 2011 the official game for that.
The pit stops were fixed, about the only thing that was fixed.

It is a game I keep coming back to. Reluctant to mod it for some reason though.
The 2011 mod is really easy it does it for you
I have also installed lighting mods now as well and they where a hassle. The cockpit camera helps a lot though!
Hmm think i will pick it up then, I am an ardent F1 fan (Hamilton fan sadly... he's feeling the pressure and maybe overdoing it a little) I just really fancy playing along with the season!
