Hey Strife212, what's the new Alice game like? Heard reports of ugly textures but those screenshots look good. Were those problems just on the console versions maybe?

Can't comment on the gameplay too much, only played it for a little bit, but graphically it looks really nice.

Some more Oblivion, been on a mission to get it modded & working on my laptop with an mobile 8600GT 256MB. I've used a custom built version of Qarls Texture Pack, the new water shaders and also a script I wrote to clean all of the crap that RAEVWD generates so the distant stuff is only actually present when you are going to actually see it.

You can see bridges and things in the far distance, and can also note the water reflections are no longer a blocky mess.

Fairly happy with this, will run it at 720p on the TV with a gamepad. Looks vastly better than the PS3 version.

Bit weird yeah, i can view them here on the forum, but when i click on them it goes to the shareimage upload page, pics are still in my gallery on shareimage, complete with image tags, url's etc.

EDIT. Reuploaded with photobucket, had to resize though.

I used to think MW2 and Dragon Age Origins graphics were top notch - then I got a much bigger monitor and they really aren't that great now

I really like the looks of alice, but have decided I need to complete some games before I buy anything at full price. Working through Dirt3 and Witcher 2 mainly, Got about another 10 games im half way through and about another 20 i aint even downloaded (sale games though)

In the exact same situation and now after playing through the Portal demo I really want Portal 1 and 2 . Just spent ~700 on a new build too so my wallets taking a right beating this summer .
