It does look better in-game, yes. But literally, the two screens I've uploaded is pretty much the entirety of walking in stations. You can't leave your quarters and walk about in stations yet, you can't see anything other than that room, in it, a locked door to the rest of the station, and the platform to view the ship from. All station interiors currently look exactly the same too.

Pretty poor, as you say, for the length of time spent on development.

It is maxed out on every setting. I also have a few mods installed, one of which is Dragon Age Redesigned http://social.bioware.com/project/1205/. It basically makes face shapes far more pretty and is really easy to install.

This game looks rather hardcore and I haven't a clue as to what's going on at the moment! Despite not having the full show-boating settings enabled, the game looks quite pretty.

The expression of these two ladies (my character and a rather butch Amazon) made me chuckle and I thought I'd share it with y'all.
