Thanks, but that is due to the addons I have installed. Plain FSX is rather dated now.

The island is Sark, part of the Channel Islands, the large one is Guernsey. You can get it from Earth Simulations, so far it is the best scenery out for FSX, it really is something else (as you can tell from the screenshots).
Correct, for a piece of simulated software, this scenery is an amazing likeness of the Islands, a real pleasure flying and exploring over it.
Got DXHR today and am actually quite impressed. There is some mouse lag, feels like vsync is on but it isn't but you get used to it I suppose given the gameplay doesn't command quick reflex action movements like other fps games.
Anyway, GTX460, i52500K 4.3GHz and 1920x1200 @ DX11 looks/runs smooth and nice!

Couldn't agree more. I live in Jersey and have visited Sark many times. It's accurate enough for me to recognise it immediately!
Is there a way to see the ingame framerate for Deus Ex HR? Everyones going on about their res and system spec but I'm playing max detail 1080p on my system, which isnt very up to date:

Ah, you live in Jersey too, same here, been living on the Island for most of my life. I used to visit the other Islands when I was much younger (my mom used to fly and I remember images of the islands from the air). So like you, I recognize the Island from memory when I see this scenery as it really well duplicated.
The next scenery ES are doing should be Jersey, I cannot wait till they finish that, it should be as good as Guernsey if not better (they been getting better and better with their software releases over the past few years). Be very cool to explore the Island from the air in the sim, buzz over the places I live and have lived and explore the place as I did from the ground in my youth.

I bought Medal of Honour today and I am very impressed with how it feels and looks. Some of the early problems seemed to have been sorted and it plays really nicely now.
Kabul City Ruins is by far the most eye pleasing map, it actually looks and feels like a geniune war torn city.

dues ex looks crap on screenshots but looks pretty good when your playing it with eveerything maxed and FXAA high im getting 55-60fps with a GTX460, the games textures must be pretty pants over all though as im only getting 400-500mb of gpu ram usage

I think its got that suited to consoles look. Playing it on my xbox on the big screen and it looks alright.
