Good Idea about the Spoiler to neaten up this thread, i am also sick of looking at Skyrim now (i own the game) and i would rather look at one and have the rest hidden under spoilers instead of endless mouse scrolling...

Just finished Dear Esther, truly loved it. As previously stated not really a game, more so a story / walk through but very immersive all the same.

Looks like they've "gone back to the roots of the game", but I'm not sure it was the right step. FC2 was genuinly more advanced, just needed much better level design, shooting mechanics and AI. FC3 kinda looks dated already.

My last shots of Dear Esther, although a fairly unique 'game' (more like a walk-through story driven demo with pretty GFX, superb narrative and very moody soundtrack), there alas isn't much to it and all nearly every angle and view point is already covered in both my and other people's screen shots.

PS. IMO this is best enjoyed with a few friends around and show it on a very large HDTV or projector with the sound going through a decent 5.1 surround system and have your friends take turn in a bit of exploring. I bet there will be plenty of Oooohs and Aaaahs going around, as I said, it really is an amazing semi-interactive story but that is all.
