you can change the colours using the dev console acording to a post i saw on another forum and there were 3 examples of the same screenshot.

one looked like classic colours as if it was a 70s/80s f1 photo and it looked pretty awesome

Found my old Virtual Pool 3 cd the other day. Updated it to latest version and playing it again. Next step is to play online - havent done that in years.

Looks horrible changed to jpg.

Yes it is. Gameplay is very good, physics are brilliant. But where it comes into its own is online play. Havent done this for a few years but you can play anyone around the world, pool/snooker etc. You often get competitions as well.

If you do like it and buy it, see if you can get the Jeanette Lee version (should be very cheap in a bargain section) and then go the upgrade route. Worked out about < £8 rather than £14.

There's also Virtual Pool 4 coming out at some point.
