Is that a question or a statement? I'm not sure cause you seem to start the sentence with a question but ended it with an exclamation mark, which makes it a statement and a somewhat narrow-minded one I fear.
Anyhow, apples and oranges, can't expect the whole world to enjoy or hate things the way you do, we all enjoy/hate different things (vive la difference). I personally don't see the fun or the point of so many games that are released nowadays (there is so little originality, just a rehash of what has been done many times before), but I know many other people do enjoy them, so I don't judge them and leave them to it while I get on with my entertainment and hobbies.
Which reminds me, let me share my latest batch of my flight sim screen shots:
(these shots have some cross process and grain effect added as after effect, it is an attempt to make them look like old aviation photos)
