Outerra looks amazing, the best!
Wouldnt it be great if developers of flight sims could add physics/FM and plane models to good terrain engines? Like RIse of Flight planes/physics on Outerra terrain etc...
How did that pickup get up there on that balcony
Sometimes it's better to experience a game as the developer intended .... then mod the **** out of it.

No idea! I was walking along doing my regular patrol when I saw it up there
When I read this I though you were commenting on the Skyrim shots and wondered why the hell there was a pickup in the game or whether it was a name for a particular item or person in the game
Then I took a look back through the screenshots and realised what was going on
Those Outerra shots really are amazing. And I agree - the day we have a flight sim looking like that....we will be made!
Also the visual models of the planes in Lock-On & DCS A-10 make X-Planes aircraft look like badly-made freeware! Im *NOT* knockin XP10s realistic aerodynamics & airplane designer software. Its just the *visual* models I have a gripe with!
Apparently Outerra renders planets from ground and from space. Imagine a MMO game where you could transistion between different planets and solar systems seemlessly. Ahhhh, I can dream.
The wife found this freeware model for me today...
