The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

Proto, what mods have you used there? As before, those shots are simply amazing. :)

Thanks, honestly too many to list out individually but I'll name the prominent ones in those shots for you (mostly from the nexus).

Riften_HQ_Rextures
Better Riften
Riften Scuzzy retex (for walls only)
RWTT 2.1
Vurts Flora Overhaul
Revamped exterior fog
remove ambient interior fog
better beast races
Dynamc Clouds
ENB SSAO/DOF with RL

Those A10 shots are great. Whats the learning curve like to fly that thing, looks like an uber-real fully functional cockpit!
The game is really complex and the cockpit is 100% clickable, all the systems are just like the real A-10 and all procedures are the same ones that real A-10 pilots go through.

It's not too hard to get the basics down, there is no real hard thing to do, just millions of little things that all add up if you get what I mean. If you're wanting to learn it fast then I suggest playing the training missions, the watching video tutorials on YouTube with a pen and paper and taking notes. Another way would be to join an online squadron and ask questions if you're stuck.

Thanks. I'll bear this in mind for when I get round to picking it up. Would you recommend playing it vanilla for the first time I play?

Depends on how you like to play the game, I like modding as much as playing so it's become a part of the gameplay for me personaly but you might want to play the game through and just enjoy the storyline without the potential performance/ stability issues you may get with mods. Having said that, a middle road could be starting vanilla and just modding where you feel it needs it, that would be a good compromise and may help you to discover your gameplay style for this type of game.

The other great thing is that we can expect decent sized DLCs as it's already been pointed out that skyrim includes the whole tamriel landmass. That would be another opportunity for further modding :D

TES V

Thanks for the reply. I'll give it some thought before making a decision, I don't even have the game yet so there's no rush. I like modding as well, so when I do eventually make some changes to the game it should be good fun. :)

Some Tribes Ascend beta screenshots..

Playing a STALKER mod called People Soup at the moment. I won't go into detail as there's so much added/changed but i'll say this; it's brutal (playing it on the 'Marked One' difficulty).

Anomalies everywhere, when you pick up artifacts and they have a radiation debuff you get irradiated while carrying them.

Quick note though. If you've seen footage of this on YouTube I think everyone turns the HDR/Bloom and everything else up to the max. I've left it at default and the game looks fine.

Couple of screens:

Fml Photobucket has re-sized them to random sizes. Does anyone have a good image hosting site that's free? :(

Waiting for a price drop!!

Not "flew" for a few years now, and just want to get the feel of it again, I'll join you all soon!

Great stuff! Don't get me wrong, the WoP series is a fun way to get back into it. The graphics are somewhat pleasing though obviously more arcade, to suit the style. But it can be a lot of fun for a while.

And CloD is not without its bugs!

What joystick are you using, or planning to use?
