In a Apache AH1 (UK), over Sarhani, nightime mission..
Sorry but its a jpeg, so the quality is not what it should be, but its taken from the original Bitmap image at 1920 1080 res, but then reduced to the size of a peanut, kb's wise..

Thats a really nice shot. But..I thought ARMA prided itself on realism - looks like they messed up?
They have given the Mi-28 gunship a co-axial rotor when in fact it has a standard rotor & tail-rotor arrangement:

Thats a good spot actually! The coaxials are trademark of the russian Ka-50 that's been dropped by their military as its blades were found to crush into each other more often than they'd like... Mmm, interesting if there is a good explanation

Sorry...I did not mean to take away from your nice screenshot (which is really good!) but the co-axials on MI-28 fuselage stood out! I did not know the KA-50 had that problem, a pity cuz its a fearsome helo. But I guess in combat its gonna be pulling Gs..and those rotors could clash!
Ive always prefered the MI28, so ugly its pretty...in a way only Russia can make em. Love the cockpit...I would feel less exposed in MI28 cockpit vs Apache. I dont know how it performs compared to Apache but I have seen air displays and it looks very capable.

Yep, russian air force only has about 20 of Ka50 (+about the same more Ka-52s), but chose not to renew contract with Kamov bueroeau, and will get about 70 Mi-28 by 2013. The main criticisms were clashing blades and not enough armour around its avionics and weapons sensors.
While I think Mi-24 is gorgeous looking chopper with great curves

Mi -28 is I agree is so extremely ugly, its almost not ugly
Aesthetics aside, Mi-28 is pretty cool- its on of the very few choppers that can do a full loop And apparently its exceptionally well armoured.

I have a lot of in-game pics, but I always saved them from ‘bitmap’ to ‘jpeg’ mostly. I do have a few png images which are a little better, but not many.. Good excuse to take some more..
A UN Mi8 Hip, good old workhorse, again over the Watkins mountains, Arma 2. This thing rattles about abit, as you can imagine, needs a good service.
