The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

Gonna borrow some pictures from this thread and do this right now.

EDIT:

The Elder Scrolls VI: PlaneRim
(borrowed from Deific (skyrim) and Soya (plane))

Look at the 1min effort I went to to reduce the pic size…

Anyway what this shows me is the great plane graphics, crisp & sharp and the well below par Skyrim ones, too blurry...

Nice edit
Good quality
Great idea

Seeing the guy on the horse turning his head towards the aircraft and sensing him saying "WTF!", priceless.

Perhaps someone should tell the guy on the horse that the dragons had a modern upgrade :).

Hahaha!...Is it only me that spots a slight problem with the sky between one of the wings :)

Damn. Didn't notice that. It's the most obvious thing ever now.

Also, isn't the Bokeh effect meant to simulate some aspect of human eyes in terms of focus? I've always thought it was quite a nice effect, the problem with it being that I'm looking at a computer monitor and therefore I am able to, with my eyes, focus on the unfocused parts of the image.

This is the high res screen shot thread you know... Why complain about image size when your posting 1080p images yourself!?

Who’s complaining about image size………………

I reduced the image as I was quoting a post and did not want to have another full size image, just a reference to the original image to make a point…

When people quote a post containing an image we end up with another full size image in the post, just a waste...

Just a side note, that effect in Skyrim is terrible.... I don't wonder around in a blurry 'real' world, well not all the time that is..:D

You could just use words instead of having to bother with resizing.

Umm yes, it was just a bit of fun. As I was making a point about the sharpness of the image, it seemed appropriate to show an example.
It only took around 60secs to do, so why not...

I think maybe there should be an image in every post when commenting, but a small reference image. It is after all the 'High Res ScreenShot Thread'..

A picture paints a thousand words..

Getting well off topic now, will post an image to get back on track...
