The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

OpenTTD with original DOS graphics, SP game I've been playing for ages, about 25% (or less, I've covered the whole map with my network, it's just about filling the ''blocks'' now) of the cities left to connect.

First 2x3 rail that starts getting congested, upgrade to 2x4 ( or 3+4) is required soon:

Space is getting sparse, cities grow a lot:

Lack of space so double decked rail in 1 direction :D:

Most all of the pics of Arma 2 I put on are mods. Islands, aircraft, vehicles etc, all made by the Arma community.. Not bad..

Really impressed by all I have seen and heard about TERA. I have never ever been interested in MMOs but this seems different. I hate the point & click stuff - feels like youre playing an Excel spreadsheet. But Tera seems live action MMO...?

How much is monthly/annual subscription? :D

Some of the 'SC aircraft mod' for Arma 2. Island is 'Jade Grove' mod for Arma 2..

Bright colourful aircraft these, maybe too colourful. Modelling is quite nice, internal shots soon but they are not the greatest interiors..

Can pick the box up pretty cheaply, I've heard £20 in some places and thatll give you a month of play time, after which it's a sub of £12.99 I think (rather expensive for an MMO sub, most these days are 9.99). It's worth it I feel, it's quite easily the most polished launch MMO I've ever played and I've played most of them, the combat is genuinely brilliant, the rest of the game is well rounded and well thought out, the make/break factor will be the end game, I really hope they can do something innovative with it, because if they can the game could be a real hit, it has a lot going for it.

It really did feel great in the beta. The thing that put me off was the questing. I used to play WoW, and I've had it with the old "pick up quest, kill 10 bears, collect flanks" style of questing. It did feel fun in terms of the fact that I wasn't really thinking about that at all and I was instead running around slashing at things, but I was either focusing on the quests, bored out of my mind, or not focusing on them at all to the extent I was actually just not noticing some of the quests I had picked up and ended up having to go back and do them.

I felt it was a really well polished MMO, but it really would have benefited from some more passive questing.

I was actually considering grabbing a subscription for it in a few months, but that is actually really high. WoW used to cost me £7.99 a month. Far too high IMO and I hope they realise that it isn't competitive and bring it down in a few months time.

(Sorry for going OT, but I typed that up, was ready to post it, and then couldn't find the screenshots I was going to add at the end)

the monthly fee for Tera will be 12.99 EURO, so around £10.50. I picked up the Collectors for £37.

I haven't done anything special for the frame rate but after the game went from Beta to Open Beta / Pre launch they must have fixed something because even though i was getting a decent frame rate it was choppy and not so good but now it's really smooth.

Were currently capped at lvl 38 for pre-launch and servers went offline yesterday for Release tomorrow at 11am UK time.

regarding questing, yeah it's kinda kill 10 of these a lot but there are also Story line quests that run alone side all through the leveling.

Silent Hunter 5 is now the best Silent Hunter! The brilliant modders have really pulled it from abyss.

Deus Ex:

Never played this before (first play through), but my god does it look terrible. Not only is it graphically not modern, but I actually think it was made out of perfectly angled slabs of concrete and nothing else. Half-Life isn't this bad.
