the difference that FXAA makes on minecraft is astonishing
to get the effect in screenshots you have to printscreen, screenshots do not capture the efect of FXAA (as i found in the first picture)

que?
can you seriously not see the difference? look at the block on the left of the picture in the before and after shots
if you cant tell the difference then you need glasses (unless you're just mocking minecraft and its cubism)

I could see that yes. You described the difference as astonishing, I'm still looking for that part.
guess you lot are just hard to please. i consider the almost complete removal of all the jaggies in minecraft with something driver based pretty astonishing, but i guess you wanted minecraft to suddenly turn into crysis or something
I think a better word would have been Good, not astonishing!
Have you played SA:MP, its awesome.
Awesome shots ^^. Is that with mods?
Indeed! Was going to ask the same thing
I decided to hold off on Skyrim for a bit as I was sure the modding community would erupt - Are there some decent mods for it now?
Yes, the main one is TV_ENB which makes the lighting look very good to my mind [I've removed the widescreen bars it comes with]. Also using 'Glorious Grass' which gives the very dense affect above, and I'm also using some of Vurt's vegetation mods for the Fir trees and some plants, and the official HD textures pack.
There are so many mods its hard to pick the good from the bad, and its temping to use too much... find a few good ones and stick to those.
Dear lord, that's like asking are there any decent particles in the universe. There be many, check out the skyrim mods thread. I've only tried a small proportion of them (thirty or so) but some of them are amazing.
