Ha i agree, skyrim looks good and i appreciate people are proud of how they've modded it but 50 pages of very similar skyrim shots gets boring. We need more variety in the thread.

I'm wondering why they can't be posted in the official skyrim thread, after all everyone in there goes in there to see/talk about it!

Then its up to people to post other game shots... I agree, as I don't want to see just Skyrim, or anything else.

Maybe its a reflection of the PC gaming scene... that there is not that much around, so the same few games keep cropping up.

Skyrim also happens to look stunning, when done right... so its hard not to post those screens that look cool.

Nothing stunning:

Bulldozer @ 3.6GHz
8 GB of ram
TI 560 1GB

Most of the time it's running about 30 - 35 fps but sometimes drops as low as 20ish. It's the first game that has made me want to upgrade lol

I don't think upgrading makes too much difference, horrible game to run

But

at your specs! I thought you would be running something like SLI

Did you post your mods and config earlier in the thread?

Everything is in the GTA mods thread. Also using the better city textures pack.

Quake 1 rendered with the Dark Spaces engine. Little extra enhancements, I like Quake the way it was. The architecture has always fascinated me, the speed and gameplay still haven't been matched IMO. I hear there are PC gamers who have never played Quake 1 :eek:

It's not Skyrim at least

Took these ages ago of space marine

Even tho the game has a weird as slowdown problem it was still fun to play, weird how it doesn't have it online though :s

I have pretty much the same system specs as he does, and GTA IV runs fine. All the videos on YouTube feature horribly low spec machines bossing out GTA IV with no problems. It seems the better your machine is, the worse the game runs, truly anti-PC. True definition of a console port.

+1, I don't think its the fact theres too much Skyrim, its more the fact nobody else really bothers to post anything, in a community as large and active as this, only 2 or 3 people actively post screenshots, with the occasional person posting a single set here and there.

Theres also the case that only games with real, living worlds seems to make for good sceenshot content, which are rare these days. Hence why Skyrizzle and GTA IV look so good.
