Wow, huge contrast in colours. Really looks quite bare FC2 compared to FC3. However I agree with the overly usage of green within the jungle/vegetation areas. I believe FC2 to have a much nicer colour profile/theme.

sure by next month your going to see screenshots the same size as stamps just to get the extra detail

post the same res man downsizing is cheating. they do look nice but people can we post the actual res shots its a high res thread

Damn my 1280x800 laptop hates this thread.

Those Skyrim look awesome, but as stated above, 800x500 or whatever is absolutely tiny, Pacman would look just as good downscaled that that res!

Hitman Absolution. One of the best, if not the best, visual looking game this year in my opinion. This is with SSAO off also.

I tried Doom 3 (Not the latest BFG edition) but the orig 2004 release on my 6950 and GTX 670 and that also looked horrible with messed up graphics.

I remember playing FC1 on my ATI 9600 Pro and it looked beautiful...nothing like the screenshot above.?

Not at all, it's the fact you are used to modern graphics, whereas the games back in 2004 looked naff compared to Doom 3 (except Resident Evil 4 and Realms of Everquest). They look exactly the same, it's just that you've been spoilt by modern technology so the oldies look even worse than they used to. I remember thinking Morrowind was the bestest looking game EVAR.

Those Crysis 1 shots look amazing,I still think Crysis 1 looks better than Crysis 2.

Yeah FC3 is awesome and lookms amazing with a few tweaks. But I have to admit, I love Crysis 1 graphics with these mods
