The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

I am enjoying Hotline Miami also, terrible at it though :p

Just grabbed this from GMG for £1.60, enjoyed the first few levels.

Haven't played enough to comment on the overall gameplay but the visuals are pretty nice.

LMAO true definition of a Ken player, shoryuken>sweep>shoryuken>sweep.

:D

Haha :D

It's actually the first time I played as him. I did mix it up more than the screenshots would suggest - I am rubbish at the game though. I have to put it on easy as I can't get past the 4th fight on medium.

Those Farcry 3 pictures (and even the BF3 ones) have got me thinking, was Crysis poorly coded/optimised/whatever, or was it just so ahead of the curve?

I get very smooth framerates in Crysis on my 680 (as I should for such an old game) but at the same time, it still looks as good, if not better than all these modern games, which run the same. Farcry 3 looks like a cartoon compared to Crysis.

Cause it blocked my moves in ME3 so didn't know what was bound to what :p.

Is Secret world any good? I've only heard that the combat is the only thing that lets the game down

Yes, the combat gets a little tedious and seems unnecessary, even out of place given the rest of the game design, almost feels forced. Could just be due to many others MMOs heavily relying on that kind of combat and the game designers thought it might help bring in players. I think you can mostly avoid it though as pvp isn't necessary if you are interested in role playing and you also have role playing servers to avoid it for the most part.

I haven't played many MMOs as I really don't like WOW type games or the subscription based pricing for the popular ones, this felt more like something I could get in to, so was a little curious too, and since they removed the subscription I thought I'd give it a go. Especially as I was able to pick it up quite cheaply.

I would suggest trying it out. In fact, I have a couple of buddy invites available for a 24 hour trial if you are interested? Send me your email through trust if you are, and I'll have a trial key sent to you. :)

I've been through lots of image hosts and I've finally found one that does everything right, except that it doesn't link you directly to larger images. If I do go out of my way to link the images directly it seems to detect the increased bandwidth usage and deletes the larger image altogether.

Can't have it all. :(

Imageshack was the first host I used, the imageshack uploader was quite handy too. But they started resizing images and all sorts of other limitations like how many images you can store with out of the blue deletions, this was a year or so ago, no idea what they are like now but I can't imagine they would have improved that much.

This current host also has pretty decent organisational features, has never been down, and a lot of places don't allow full size images anyway so I'm quite content with it for now.
