The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

I thought the FO3 shots looked great. Such rich and vibrant colours. A lot of games don't really get the depth of field quite right, so that is nothing new.

That's one game I haven't yet modded...:)

It's got amazing texture reworking on the Nexus, really well redesigned, and you can disable the DoF if you don't like it.

No contest really. :p

Top one You have lost all detail in dark areas no Shadows at all. Your Brightness is way to High lol

Top one isn't mine, top ones just a vanilla shot off Google. :p

Something in between would be ideal. Love the saturation of the second one, but there's too much DoF effect.

You can turn the DoF off in the enbseries.ini

Anyway c'mon peeps, post some screenies. :p

Fallout 3. Looks absolutely beautiful if you know what you're doing, runs beautifully with 4096 resolution textures and an extreme ENB, ooooft! Shame though that the Gamebryo engine is that much of a fail that 1920x1200 or even 1600x1050 make my monitor go 'out of range' when all other games work fine.

got a list to make look like that I am nearly at end of New Vega and fo3 play thru is on the cards.

Not many mods mate, all I have for visuals is:

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/18107 - ENB (Depth of Field=false in the enbseries.ini if you want to remove the blur)

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/7670 - Fallout 3 Re-Animated, a must have.

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/12056 - Texture pack, around 1,500MB so you know its very high resolution, you'll need a 2GB card or better to use them, if you don't have that get the LITE version.

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/774 - Install this after the texture pack, makes the world feel fuller and gives it a tessellated look, no real performance hit, but get the 512 version if you have less than 2GB VRAM.

That's it mate, enjoy!

Here are some comparison screenshots, I've turned the depth of field and blur off, so all the ENB does now is add SSAO and make the colors more vibrant, and I hate to say it but I prefer it!

Thanks to runing.man and AzZ for making me re-install GTA4 and some mods

I found a 100% save so can finally just mess around and not be tied into missions and have no money and weapons

I tried the ICEnhancer but it was too bright and shiny in the day (however I did not try 'H1Vltg3 Final iCEnhancer 1.2.5 Modifed Settings')

4 more from me using 2560x1440, max in game settings with mods ENBbyVuckov4.5, Ultimate Textures v2.0, HD Road Textures, trees_textures_mod_vanni83_v1_2
