I want pCars and I want it now. I so wish I could buy a toolpack. I kick myself each time I see screenshots for not purchasing the toolpack. Let that be a lesson folks, if your PC can't run a game at the time then buy it anyhow, as you'll get a machine that can just like I did..

Stunning shots of pCars. I'm still stuck with shift 2, about the only GT racing game for single player kick I can get at this time, unless I go play PS3 GT5.

well the FSA investigation should be over soon and then they will probably open toolpack buying for a weekend like they had talked about around christmas

Could someone post a quick step by step guide to getting the cinematic mod working. I have HL2, EP1 & EP2 installed on Steam to D:\Games\ I then install the cinematic 12.20 full mod but it doesnt start because of missing gfc files.

Does it depend on it being in program files

'CM depends on the official steam directory structure, i.e.

..\Program Files (x86)\Valve\Steam\SteamApps (-> Here are the gcf files)
..\Program Files (x86)\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods (-> Here are the mod directories)'

Also where do you get these...

You should get all needed gcf files, if you download the following:

- Half Life 2 with all episodes
- Source SDK
- Source SDK 2007
- Source SDK Base

My STEAM is on the C drive so I never got any gfc errors. installed 12.2 then installed the full 12.21 update.

It's quite possible it's hardcoded to look in C:\Program files though I'm not certain. Are you not using symlinks?

first time i have seen that car game.
looks awesome

its is a good game but they mess about with the handling a lot

first it was awesome one of best car games i driven now with a lot of cars its like driving with a pound of butter on your tyres . even with a finely tuned steering wheel.
