The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

Iv not played Pcars in about 3 months now..Think i might have to Re download it :)

about 6 new cars in as many weeks :D
2 bmw's
ford focus
pirault mega sr (renault rip off guess they are trying to get it licensed)
mercedes SLR rip off (must be the big german manufacturer they said was interested in having their cars in the game)

The devs really seem to be putting the hours in recently to get the game ready for a launch towards the end of the year.

I really want the audio guy to hurry up and add all the enchanced effects he has on his road map

How demanding is project cars?

frij it does look nice bu i guarantee you it doesn't look as good as his screenshots 99 percent of time . most of them are through playback cam

so imagine how a lot of games look great in cut scenes and so on very similar to that. in actual racing it still looks great though . just bear that in mind tough.

the graphics don't change between replay and racing and most people take the screenshots during an actual race with the freecam as i've said before.

I even went to the trouble of making a video showing it

the game looks as good as most screenshots with the right settings , lots of AA (if your nvidia force it though nvidia inspector, if your AMD then you have to use downsampling with AMDDownsamplingGui_0.2 )
and get a good sweetfx config from the pcars forum, also people have edited the games lighting which looks much better than stock.

theres a thread for them here TweakIt Lighting WIPs/WTC Files
http://forum.wmdportal.com/showthread.php?4870-TweakIt-Lighting-WIPs-WTC-Files
the files go in C:\Users\YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME\Documents\LightingEdits\

obviously 99% of screenshots are taken from angles that look good with a locked chase cam etc obviously it wont look as good but it still looks pretty realistic

Those screen shots of Pcars look incredible. Just wow. What's the frame rate like though on such high quality?

already answered a few posts up

this is a good shot of how the graphics look texture wise etc when your racing and if you were to turn the motion blur off (which is what makes most shots look great because attention is drawn to the cars which are ridiculously high poly models)

arknor you always show the view back or a camera angle other than what you actually view when driving ;) why? cause it looks better than when you actually driving in game. seeing as 99 percent of people will be actually driving ingame :p that's why i say what i say.

also arnt u using a free roam camera that wont be in the game to take these screenshots.

i like pcars its a decent game but show more actual racing shots from drivers view to give people actual perception of what its like to play it .

as said it does look good but through window or bonnet or actual driving view it doesn't look as good. taking actual driving racing shots will atleast give a true reflection on the good game it is.
