I think it one of the best pc platform games ever! Even when you have completed it once you go back and collect all the bonuses then in the process of doing so you see another 2-3 extra scenes per level usually these extra parts have much better gfx than the main game so a little strange why they decided to make the game that way
This game is a lot of fun.
I see i'm going to have to elaborate...
First of all you were playing on public servers, so who exactly were you playing against. Either the greatest CoD4 players in the world in which you're a gaming god, gg... or most likely the case, a whole host of low skilled, play for fun types. The guy just wanting to play for a couple of hours to escape the wife, the hyperactive kid who spends more time rocking backwards and forwards picking his nose than playing. Public servers and any score you obtain upon them are extremely subjective and therefore meaningless, get yourself in a clan and go win tournaments against high skilled clans and people will take your epic CoD4 skillz seriously.
Nubcore mode... explains itself really. Infinity Ward are genius in its naming though, they took their consolized heavily noob friendly game and added in an even noobier easier mode to play, but called it "hardcore", convincing everyone playing on it that its the epitemy of "skilled" and "tactical" gameplay. Even my dad, someone who has to look at the keyboard every 2 seconds to make sure hes pressing the right movement keys gets "decent" scores on nubcore servers. Should be noted that normal isn't exactly a skillfest either, but atleast it doesn't pretend it is.
Then I noted your attachment... but this should be said about all the guns / perks in the game. I can't think of any which wasn't made so that some Joe Nabkins couldn't join in his first game, get a bunch of kills and think "this is the most awesome game ever, gonna get all my friends to get this!". Every gun in CoD4, whether it be pistol, submachine gun, rifle, machine gun... ALL of them have next to no recoil and are essentially laser guns, bursting volleys of hyper accurate bullets from one end of the map to the other, mad skillz!. Then you have the perks, a couple of which are designed so the people who actually manage to suck at this game can kill you once they have inevitably died one of their many deaths, the perks are made with one thing in mind, sucky players pick what they suck at most and offset it with a few perks.
But all that is beside the point, don't post scoreboards in a screenshot thread based around showing off shiney new games to the masses and you won't get your ropey measure of how skilled you are picked apart.

1 those scores aren't impressive Thorpy's scores are impressive
