I don't know if it is on the nexus, I might have got it from the SweetFx Database. I found that ENB doesn't work at all well on DA:O(though he does say that in the description to be fair). Sweetfx gave much better results.
I only asked about the texture pack, as that is the only one I am aware of really(I use it too)...I like the way he has almost gone out of his way to make it complicated! Though it is much better now. I remember when he first released it, you had to pretty much guess what to do with it(and download it in about 5 parts).
A proper HD texture pack for Origins would be amazing(there are some good armour one though iirc)...unfortunately, the game has always looked crap
You think DAO looks crap with mods? I think it's one of the better looking games with the texture pack alone, can't wait to try this SweetFX. DAO looks better than DA2 iirc.
Yes, it's X3: Terran Conflict using the X-Tended mod.
Not doing a play through at the moment so was trying some mods. Also looking forward to X Rebirth, to be released soon.
A big problem with DA(and all Bioware games really, Mass Effect series was the same) is that it seems to actually try and highlight the awful textures...so you will get a cutscene which is a close-up of a character, and the 'camera' is sitting close-up right next to a door that looks like it was done in crayon
It doesn't look bad at all with mods(that texture one, Redesigned, Armour etc), but I still think it is a bit below par tbh
Ah yeah I can agree on that, Bioware are much worse than Vigil were with Darksiders 2 for porting, yet before now I've never heard any PC gamer slate ME/DA for their bad ports (graphic wise) which is weird. Although with the right mods I think DAO looks amazing, but it's preference I guess. It's just a shame the modders don't spend time making useful things instead of stupid anime faces and naked body mods.
There are some really good mods out for DA:O. Some of the quest ones are great. Quests and Legends adds loads to the game(new campaign inside vanilla one, new weapons, abilities, classes, characters... It is phenomenal)
I didn't see that on the Nexus. Can I be cheeky and ask for a link?
Wow, thats X3? The 'Map', 'Fitting' and Target Painter icon are ripped directly from Eve?

Not been updated in a while, so probably unfinished unfortunately. Still, the last time I played it, you could build a ship and take it to Orlais and Antiva...not sure if he added many quests at all, there were a fair few when I played it(along with a Thieves Guild which is pretty good). There is some interesting gameplay in there as well, such as bosses where you really need to think about it and use tactics(I won't spoil it, but one boss that you need to steal something from in order to beat, things like that).
The main reason I originally used it, was because it allows you to multiclass your character

Either way, saying that it looks better than current day Eve is laughable.
In regard to EvE vs X. Sure X has been around longer But TC was released in 2008. where as eve was released in 2003.
I certainly think eve has far superior visuals. However I love the X games. Really great games!
Very much a single player interpretation of EvE. A lot of people say X should be an online game. But that slaps it into competition with eve. Somewhere it would fail (because its not got a 10 year old world development)
Both great games, plenty of similarities. But worlds apart too.
Cant wait for rebirth, cant wait for odyssey.
