Where do you get the patch? I have erm Misery 2.1 installed atm.

EDIT: I tried 1.1 first, crashed. Then tried 2.1, crashed, then patched it to 2.1 UPGRADE and still crashing. Do you have to download it from the official site? Got mine from moddb.

I thought (assumed) that you were trying 1.1 - due to the comments on my pics.

I got everything I needed from moddb. Do you have any old stalker mods / files that need deleting? Maybe try a fresh install?

Formatted my PC the other day, got everything up to date etc.

I've used all 3 versions now pal going to try the 7th Jan 2014 v2.1 from their official site, do you know of any other good overhauls for the game incase this won't work (silly question) cheers!

I had the best experience with 2.1 beta - though I'm waiting for 2.1 to be released in its complete state before I return to Misery 2.

In terms of other mods, I'd favour this :

Nice one mate, downloading that as backup. Uninstalled Misery and vanilla kept crashing instantly too, but it worked fine when I first booted it up to get it in the registry before installing the mod. :/

EDIT: Even the vanilla game crashes once it actually gets in game, that's a fresh install after all stalker/x-ray files are gone.

Just a few Tomb Raider screens, I'm not very far in, can't really get into it. It feels like a game that was made to be played on a joypad, to me it feels like the movements with the keyboard are really jerky.

I hope more games incorporate that tress fx hair, dull it down a bit and sort out the fps hit and it's a winner.

It is very nice but like you said; fps hit. Costs like 30fps on a 670gtx to activate it, no thanks.

Playing through Witcher 2 and I have to say, the game is beautiful but the damn hair ruins it, looks like something off a PS2 game, imagine TressFX...

I might get the ENB mod installed though I don't think the game looks too bad considering how old the engine is.
