To be fair, many people still trust the British media. Even if people use AI to peddle nonsense, and it becomes well known, people will still believe it no matter how many times you say.
It's like those fake facebook ads, people fall for it time and time again.
 
Is there not something wrong with the logic in the law, if a person 16-17 can legally have sex, but it's illegal for them to have anything to do with porn, even watching it ? Or is there a disclaimer in the law where you can only have sex in darkness or with your eyes closed so you don't view anything 18+ ?

A UK comedian posted a photo of the alleged person concerned and made a very big unsubtle hint relating to this story on Saturday.

Doesn't help that the comments are obviously filterable.
It'll say "100 comments". But only see a few positive ones.

Its just going to get bigger and bigger a problem

Is it far out to wonder if the deep fake stuff will eventually become so indistinguishable from real that people will just switch off?
Or, people will just accept everything is fake and carry on lapping it up?


Maybe we won't even have real people in films/tv shows eventually.

Which is exactly why they're so reluctant to release the information the unfounded accusations against Cliff Richard and Paul Gambuccini significantly damaged their reputation and the latter has made no bones about just how angry he was/is with the BBC

Yeah, "I did meet her when she was 17 but waited until after her 18th birthday before paying for the dirty texting stuff" might well be fine legally but still isn't exactly a good look for a serious BBC presenter.

I believe in TV circles the technical term is 'unwise, but not illegal'. :D
