The Intel Arc owners thread

I would like to see them try B580s on multiple PCs they have in the office, putting clean Windows install against old Windows installs. I’m not the only one who sings the praises of a fresh Windows install for an Intel card, and he did mention the machine on the old install had more issues.

Can i ask if you get any direct x12 issues when gaming with your asrock.i have the asrock b580 steel legend and i have had crashes in cod6 and apex with dx12 errors.

Im on the last driver before this new one
None at all Jonny, also my main pc has only ever used Intel cards so never had any NVIDIA or AMD drivers installed to conflict with. I did have a few black screen issues on my other system after swapping from NVIDIA 3060ti to ArcB580 but no DX12 errors, any black screen was remedied by unplugging the display-port cable then just reinserting it.
that's the only prob Ive ever had from my intel cards.

I think its user error i noticed on cod the vram target was at 80% and apparently leaks like mad so i set it to 65 and not had an issue yet.

I slightly turned down a setting on apex and been ok since.

A Computex announcement of a card with RTX 4080 performance would really set the car among the pigeons.

Yes that would be good.

Also.....
