Some really nifty new features here.

I really like the idea of the one handed keyboard for the bigger phones!

The 5 tap of the sleep button SOS to call 999 is interesting too.

Installed it, liked it, but far buggier than previous betas so stepped it back.

It's installing on my spare iPad right now.

I usually don't start installing the betas until at least beta 3. It just isn't worth fixing compatibility issues in our apps until it's a little more stable.

If anyone is using it - can you tell me about the file browsing app (Files is it?)

Can you browse PC network shares and view/copy photos and videos remotely?

Files is just a unified app for all your cloud providers but as none of the other apps have updated yet it’s pretty useless.

Installed it, hate it, very buggy, half my apps don't work. Rolled it back. But did like the new screen shot feature :rolleyes:

It’s a beta, not early access.

If you can’t handle some bugs and broken apps then keep away.

Got it on my ipad pro - works just fine to be honest ! lol, only bug I have found is commenting on facebook with the keyboard - the screen doesn't roll up so you can't see what your typing.

Otherwise..........seems to work just fine, must have got lucky.

Are you using some older 32-bit apps which haven't been updated? There will be some out there that will never work unless they get a patch.

Just need the dev profile which is easily found via Google.

Public beta at the end of the month though which you may as well wait for, they would be on Beta 2 by then and not be quite as buggy

Will this update to the full release when it comes out or do you need to do a new install for the final version. If that makes sense....

It will update to the finial version but you will still be running it with the developers profile. This will give you early developer updates in the future.

You can just delete the developer profile in settings and reset the phone as a new phone and restore from a backuponce the finial version is out also.

Some people have had issues with their Apple Watch working over Bluetooth with iOS 11 beta 2 but unpairing and repairing the watch fixes it and as the unpair creates a backup you don't lose anything other than about half an hour of your time.
