The Killers - Sam's Town

Sorry to say this but I've heard it and it really isn't that good. Very similar to what Muse and Razorlight did. Everyone was expecting something great, but what we got was nothing more than average. Perhaps people are just getting fed up with the Indie genre now.

I heard it too on C4, it was live and new, so its not gonna sound great yet, once they've rehearsed it more for a tour i'm sure it'll be good.

Can't wait, love the killers, minus dodgy facial hair!

thats the biggest load of trollop ever, listen to again and re-asses your opinion. its a great album.

anyone got a link to the back cover?

ive listened to the alnum many times now, and it gets better and better, how can you say music will take a nosedive, this is good music, better than most other crap out there.

I hope you paid for it...

I got my hands on it this morning, it's good having a manager of *** as a brother. :D (Edited in case it's a competitor.)

I have to say on first complete listen, it's brilliant and I'm sure it'll grow on me the more I listen to it.

"This is good music"? More like this was good music before it was rehased by a load of Yanks pandering to the UK market.

I think the first few tracks are excellent but it seems to loose it's way a little towards the end. I will give it another listen (about number 5) and see what happens.

one more solo, they obviously wrote the music just to suit the uk market, yeah, right. it appeals the the uk market because its good music, but you obviously wouldnt know that, because you judge people/music from where its made, what sense does that make? none.

I've only heard When You Were Young. I've pre-ordered this so I should get it through my letter box tomorrow.

I loved their debut album having decided to get it after hearing them at Live8. I don't know why but I thought they were British. Their music must have sounded more British than American. However I now listen to Brandon Flowers and wonder why I missed his accent.
