The last game you completed, and rating.

I hardly ever complete games these days. I end up getting bored half way through or even after the first few chapters.

I played Doom recently after installing it through Family Sharing and I got fed up after about 2 hours.

I played Deus Ex Mankind Divided and got most of the way through until I ended up in a stupid boss fight that I couldn't avoid and called it quits. I tried playing it as stealthily as possible but should have just gone out all guns blazing like it appears the game was designed to be played.

Not many games have been able to get my attention and hold it all the way through. Either the gameplay just gets repetitive and I get bored or the whole thing is just padded put far too long. Other times it just feels like every game I play is giving me Déjà Vu from previous games gone by.

I do intend to "finish" Project Cars now that I own a Rift, in so far as that I complete a season in the game. Then I'll probably look at something completely different again.

Exactly how i am too. Dead by daylight was a breath of fresh air tbh.

Just finished Sniper:Ghost Warrior 3. Despite lacklustre reviews I quite enjoyed it. Half decent gameplay dynamics, reasonable story and nice visuals. Probably about 8/10. Lengthy SP campaign missions too so good longevity.

Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. After putting this off time after time for about 6 years im glad i stuck with it, awful prologue, but the remaining 20 or so hours was truly brilliant! Great depth to the story if you read your journal entries. Combat was rather clunky at times with spells and hits not registering on many occasions, the rest of the gameplay and story made up for it though. I still need to play the alternate path but i fear the game may start to drag after another 20 hours. Onto the Witcher 3!

9/10

Owlboy 7/10

Another game I enjoyed playing. Difficulty wise, it's not really hard but the story was pretty good. Certain areas also contain some really nice music.

Assassin's Creed: Origins 8/10

Fantastic visually, and just the type of clear-area/loot type game I enjoy. 40Hrs to complete the main story line, and I've still got heaps to do. The New Game+ option will be getting a play through shortly. It also has the facility to ensure enemies level up with you, which keeps quests interesting. Performance wise, it runs brilliantly on my 5930k/1080ti/34404*1440 system - although I did have trouble with the 6700k system I had, as this game doesn't take too kindly to 4 cores.

It would have been 9/10 but it definitely has performance issues with 4 core CPUs.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. OGSE 0.6.9.3.

+ story and major quest development
+ variety of stashes and side quests
+ translations, on the whole, are decent/good enough
+ standalone, so no SOC version required
+ plenty of artifacts
+ number of maps
+ plenty of advanced video & gameplay options
+ free play

- yantar can be quite buggy so make a few extra hard saves (a good habit to get into anyway where Stalker is concerned)
- a fair bit of 'back 'n forth' quest trekking at times
- one or two design decisions which seemed impractical where the flow of gameplay was concerned

A very good effort indeed by the mod team 9/10. A surprising amount of attention to detail at times. Recommended.

Subnautica - 9/10

Pros: fantastic world, great feel, genuinely nervy, deep feels deep, nice balance between story and sandbox
Cons: Draw distance far too small, pop in of objects is immersion breaking.

Recommend to anybody.

Finished Far Cry 3 a few days ago.

Really enjoyed it, considerably better than FC2. Looked ace too. I thought most of the characters lacked a little personality besides a select few. Other than that great game! 8/10

Just finished Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl here the other day and was left with a big "WHAT? thats it?" feeling. But overall enjoyed the trip to that end conclusion. would rate 6/10

I think there’s something like 16 different endings which play out differently depending on how you played the game :)

SPOILER ALERT

A quick google should explain them :)

Kingdom Come Deliverance - 8/10

+ Game looked great (most of the time)
+ Main story was mostly solid
+ Unique combat
+ More grown up story and game in general
+ details from things like Alchemy to reading

- Bugs, Bugs and Bugs
- Main Story line was very short (Act 3 is in a separate game)
- Some quests felt dead or end of the line and elements missing
- Large scales battles for the AI were horrible
- Shame there was no SLI support they said there was going to be, but not going to mark down for that.

In all pretty solid game, got 85 hours out of it, just a shame the game ended as it did, though I guess shows how much I liked it and want to play next one. I expect with refinements of bugs and issues, could move up to a 8.5 so playing in a few months may be more beneficial.

Assassins Creed:Origins. Thoroughly enjoyable, the first Assassins Creed game I have played for more than an hour or so and the first game in ages that I just had to finish. Very similar to Far Cry Primal which is no bad thing. 52 hours well spent and I expect (as I did with skyrim) I will continue just wandering around doing things for a lot more hours 9/10

Fez, although I'm not sure if you can complete it. It acts like you finished it, then you can finish it further a few times and there still seems like there's more to do.
9/10
I would have given it 10, but had to spend too much time decoding stuff with pen and paper.
