The last game you completed, and rating.

I'd maybe give it a 6/10 now but in its' time it was brilliant and looked amazing - surely an 8 out of 10? Anyway, congrats on completing it - I remember it getting really hard towards the end of it and I never quite managed to finish it myself.

Yeah you're right, perhaps I was a little harsh. Perhaps my score was tainted by my bad relationship with the game, having found it too hard as a kid and only managing it after returning a few decades later!

Completed Aragami tonight. It's a stealth based game where you play a conjured shadow ninja spirit thing tasked with seeking vengeance for the girl who summoned you. The story is not bad once it gets going and the graphics are presented in that arty-sketchy style. This game surprised me a bit in that I never play stealthy when given the option in games like Dishonoured as I don't usually have the patience, but the gameplay in this game is done really well with new abilities and powers to utilise to take out your enemies made available as you acquire scrolls (which are hidden in the various areas) to level up so it keeps things interesting. In many ways, some of the powers and abilities are similar to those in Dishonoured so if you enjoyed the way those game played it's worth checking out. The standard price is £15 on steam which is worth it in my opinions however it's also available as one of the vault games on Origin Access. 8/10

AC: O the open world and being set in Ancient Egypt made exploring the maps enjoyable. Slightly repetitive towards the end but that's due to me wanting to get all the markers on the map completed.

8 / 10.

Town of Light. Woah this was some heavy, heavy material. I had this down as a horror game but the true horror is how we used to treat people with mental disorders in lunatic asylums back in the 1930s and 1940s. It beggars belief what we did as 'treatment' and how we ever thought this was helping people. Really powerful stuff, a disturbing and thought provoking experience that I know is going to stay with me for a while. 9/10

Creed Origins. 7/10. I feel as though they need to make a decision regarding the modern day elements. Either build on it or drop it, just don't make it any more contrived.

Further proof I have too many games (unplayed). Looked this up on Steam app to see that it's already in my library. It has Oculus support so I'll probably give it a whirl.

I almost, but didn't grab this is the recent sales.

Kinda sold now though after reading that. Sounds like something I truely have not played before (which is very rare!).

PSX Doom 2.0.0 mod.

Definitely the most enjoyable mod for the original Doom games I've played yet. It contains all six chapters and the use of colour is very nice indeed. I highly recommend it for fans of older fps games.

Edit: maybe not for the purists, though.

Not exactly completed, but finished the final event on Forza Horizon 3.
Still loads of side events to do but I guess as the credits roll I've finished the main game.

Certainly enjoyed playing it, graphics on my X34a monitor look great & it's one one those games you don't have to think about too much. Just pick up play & enjoy.

A solid 8/10 from me. Now back to finishing the 100s of side missions.

Elex 8/10.

+ Decent story
+ Excellent skill and weapon progression
+ Three very distinct factions, both in style but also skills and weapons
+ Strong sense of lore... and if you're prepared to search for it some genuinely rewarding back story
+ The world feels handcrafted which makes exploring interesting
+ Visuals are excellent at times, particularly in the right light and close up

- Combat is incredibly clunky, but I did come to terms with it after a few hours
- Draw distance is very short with jarring pop in at times
- ROCK HARD start. Most combat encounters need to be avoided for the first 10-20 hours.

In summary clunky but rewarding, this could have been a genuine classic with a little more polish but I'd still not hesitate to recommend.

Just finished Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl here the other day and was left with a big "WHAT? thats it?" feeling. But overall enjoyed the trip to that end conclusion. would rate 6/10

Galak-Z - 9/10

Fantastic retro 16-bit style space shooter with a few RPG and rogue-like elements to keep it modern. The graphics and sense of humour are spot on. As is the gameplay.

Would recommend it especially as it's only £4 on ps4. It was a free game on PS plus at one point so you may already have it. Also available on Steam so add it to your list and grab it when it's on sale.

Is it cheating if I haven't completed all of it?

Skyrim

I really, really love this game. There's so much to it .you can have so many play styles, and it's like playing a different game each time.
