I went to see Last of the Mohicans in the cinema when it was originally released in 92. I was 10 then and it was a 12 rating, it scared the crap out of me. I've seen it again a few times since then and although it didn't scare me anymore, I still think it's a good film.
It sounds like it’s been edited a lot by Channel 4, and I have no idea why, especially as it was broadcast after 9pm. There is a director’s cut I think, so they maybe broadcast that version. Either way it sounds like a good film as been cut to ribbons.

LOTM is a brilliant, evocative work by a damned good director. Anybody who disagrees can go back to watching their crash-bang-wallop kung fu crap.
