The Last of Us Part II

Amazon took my monies today. Booked Friday off, better arrive in time!

It's been a godsend to actually have something to look forward to, the monotony of lockdown has been getting to me recently. Successfully avoided spoilers too :)
 
Ended up having to cancel my Amazon pre-order as I placed it so long ago the delivery address was set to my old house

Apparently delivery address' can't be changed for pre-orders, which is odd

So now it's sat "attempting to cancel" and I might be £45 down with no game to play :-/ (Unless I now spend £50 to get it delivered to the correct place)

Well no. That star wars game was cancelled due to the games of service lark with EA saying single player games don't make money :(

The concept and artwork was amazing for it. Single player Bounty Hunter game.
 
Haven't played/Bought a PS4 game since RE2 remake, Got Friday booked off work, have not bothered pre-ordering the game, going to just nip to my local Sainsbury/tesco/argos and pick it up off the shelf (fingers crossed)

I miss the days where you used to get deals on launch day from supermarkets. Spend so much on your weekly shop get the game for 25 or 30 quid :)

Tried that

Their response was "Please refuse delivery and we will refund you once the item is returned"

Quite how I'm supposed to refuse a delivery to a house I no longer live at...........FFS

I couldn't really say but I loved her work on the Uncharted series.

I'm not a fan of the overt politicising and subversive writing that Druckmann is pursuing but that's just me. :)
 
Druckmann is a bit of a nob from what I have read. His idea for the story was criticised by his fellow colleagues who worked on the original. So he fired them and hired someone else to work his idea.....
 
While I've not watched much videos for the 2nd one (just a review without spoilers), I can't understand why Ellie needs to wear a gas mask as she should be immune (if you played the first one), unless it's to throw other people off?
 
I decided to pre-order the game because I'm out of anything else to play.

So I guess we'll see how it goes as far as the story telling.
