The Last Of Us

Great interview, i imagine that will help open the eyes of those who just see games as pointless violence

Very good discussion and backs up why this was something special

Completed this on survivor, and I feel like one. Managed to keep my cool for the tricky bits and won through, was as compelling and generally awesome game as it was the first three times through... now onto new game plus!
As for the ending it made sense for me, Joel is just too beaten a person to care about other people's ambitions and he decides that he can't let Ellie die, simple as that.

Interview with Ashley Johnson, Yaani King (Riley) and some of the Naughty Dog team:

Also, the full opening cinematic is here. Haven't watched it myself:

I'm about 15% into this and I'm not feeling it at all:( I ended up switching it to easy during the first proper fight. Something I almost never do. I don't really like the area layouts. I find myself just moping around in the dark wondering if I've already been in this room.

I love the Uncharted games. When I re-played Uncharted 2 about a year ago, I was glued to it and finished it in a week.

Stick with it! I admit the first few hours (after the amazing opening) are the worst bit of the game, try and push through!

Time to pre-order I think. 40% odd through the main game so gives me a bit of time to finish :)

Such a good game, especially the ambient sounds.

I really enjoyed "TLOU", most games released now have a good story that is left to support crap boring gameplay. but this game really brought something different and I suprised myself by actually having fun simply playing the characters in this.

I've pre-ordered it, from what I saw somewhere it'll download a few days ahead of time so you can play it on the 14th without waiting.

Wonder how long it'll last gameplay wise. I clocked over 20 hours on the main campaign, taking things slowly. 2-3 hours in this?

Will pre-order today regardless.

Eurogamer has said 2ish hours in their preview, but given the fact I got over 20 hours from the original game, I'm confident that I'll get a decent amount of time from it.

Played this for the first time last night. Really enjoyed the start of it, looking forward to what's coming as I get more into it. Looks absolutely fantastic and the audio in a full surround system is superb. :)
