The Last Of Us

I opted for free order on loads of my Amazon pre orders and saw that the delivery date would be days after release. I complained to Amazon that it defeated the point in pre ordering in the first place so they upgraded about 25-30 items to first class for free (including The Last of Us).

I personally think it will loose the Wow factor it had from the PS3 as nobody expected the visuals to be that good on PS3.

It's a superb game but yet another cash in to cover the lack of games on PS4 and make a few easy $ along the way.

I tend to agree, its probably going to be the (relatively) worst looking game ND have made. While people think its fan service its just them getting an understanding how much work they need to do with their engine to get it ready for Uncharted 4 - why not get paid while doing it.

The end result wont blow me away like the PS3 version did/still does

I just realised how slow I am to complete games so I'm gonna have to step it up on this.

I got second son on release day and only finished it yesterday (keep getting distracted with other stuff).

I hate starting another game inbetween though so my other games are just sitting unplayed (apart from bf4 multiplayer).
 
Woke up this morning to see the despatch email on my phone, it came yesterday evening so delivery should be Friday. From Game Stop.
 
I've had a dispatch notification from GameStop. Still no acknowledgement of my trade in, or the £20 refund though.

What's the DLC code about? I haven't had that either, did you have to ask for it specially?

Same situation here. Dispatch email but no acknowledgement of receiving my copy of bf4. It was 2 weeks ago now. I also had no response to my enquiry about it 5 days ago.

No chance I'll be using GameStop again.

The DLC code was sent via email, I didn't have to request it.

This is the first time I've used them but after seeing so many people have issues, I wouldn't use them again. I've had all relevant emails about my trade in, despatch email and DLC code they had issues taking payment from PayPal (said details were wrong), I checked and they were fine. Still waiting for the refund though.
 
Don't all write off Gamestop too quick, their dispatch and order update emals can sometimes be way behind realtime, I have always received my pre-orders on time.
