The Last Of Us

Not usually one to moan about such things but the jaggy shadows are a slight annoyance :p

Considering some aspects of the game look really nice, it kind of annoys me. Obviously such a game is incredibly strong on it's story, but becuase I already played it on PS3 I think my eyes are wandering a bit more and picking out graphical details.

I haven't seen any jaggy shadows?

I just saw the ps3 version of the game today and while they upgraded it, it seems only to be a slight upgrade. It does look great on PS4, but some areas look exactly like the ps3 while others have had a big make over. It looks like hit and miss with graphics, but I will say to people that have never played this game before, It's worth every penny to buy this masterpiece. Amazing story telling at it's best.

Well done naughty dog.

I don't think it's as apparent on character shadows, but basically any shadow created by sunlight on inanimate objects is very jaggy for me. Shadows of leaves/branches, solid objects like railings or fences, etc. just seems quite out of sync with the rest of the graphics.

But I was just 'gassing' about it really, it's still the best game I've ever played probably.

lol Agree. amazing game to play. loving every min:)

Just makes me dream of a fallout game looking this good. Think I'd probably quit gaming, I'd have peaked.

This game is brutal on hard, took me an hour to get the sky scaper, just couldn't time the attacks properly.

Damn good though. No idea how I'll cope on grounded.

I'm not so sure - on paper perhaps, but aesthetically TLOU is in a completely different league. To my eyes it's a better looking game.

I think Killzone and Infamous is better looking than TLOU. The art direction is fantastic in TLOU but in terms of graphical fidelity, there's better games out there on the same system.

Is it worth buying a PS4 for? PS4 isn't backwards compatible with PS3 titles, or is it?
I know XB1 isn't with 360... which has put me off buying one.

I would really like to play this/uncharted series...but don't want to buy a PS3 if there's nothing else to look forward to in the future. May as well get a PS4 :)

I wouldn't spend 400 pounds just to play a single game. Makes absolutely zero sense. Built a PC a fair few weeks ago and haven't played on the PS4 since. Although will be buying TLOU at some point just so I didn't spend all of that money for nothing.

I bought a PS4 and Xbox One and hardly use my Pc for anything other than browsing and email.

A PS4 and TLOU can be had for just over £300. When I bought a PS4 my PC hasn't been used since...

Horses for courses.
