Yeah sounds like comms may be a huge advantage to actually get through the multiplayer aspect of it.

Might also be the first game that brings me back to playing multiplayer on my ps3 since Killzone 2 maybe? :p
 
Im pretty sure it wont be free roam as such but maybe just a larger than usual map with a few people on

So excited to see this mode in action, could be something special

Yeah they've definitely been bigging it up when they say they've got something special planned really hoping that it's great and offers a lot of re-playability.

It makes you wonder why they've kept such a tight lid on the multiplayer, most devs at this point in time would probably have spilled the beans on it with the game's release being less than 2 weeks away. Hope it's going to be an awesome reveal :D

Just as I read this, I went to a news site and there's a supposed leak of what the MP is... if it is that, I will be playing it for a long time! Grain of salt and all that though...

They know so many people have been waiting for this game (for what feels like a lifetime :(), so they don't need the hype of announcing everything I guess. I think there might be a few surprises on release.

Can't wait :D

Probably for the fact that ND are always big on selling the single player experience of their games, and the MP usually just compliments that! Very excited now.
 
It does sound very interesting. I'm getting this game solely for the single-player experience so if the multiplayer ends up actually being quite good, that's a huge (and very welcome) bonus really.

Would also allay fears that multiplayer is just being tacked on to sell people DLC.

I agree, I didn't even know the game would have multiplayer until last week haha! Where as, in games such as TR, it was sold as a selling point for the game.
 
Holy crap just played the demo on hard, it's incredibly fun definitely worth playing it stealthy over just run and gun as that doesn't seem to help when you get swarmed! :D
 
I just can't wait until next monday night. You just KNOW Sony will come out, guns blazing "Here's what will be coming to PS4, heres what it looks like" - Then, the lights go out, everyone thinks it's over, then a trailer for TLOU MP....

I kind of think maybe the mp mode may contain spoilers for the single player story perhaps?

Because uncharted 2 and 3 got a load of public beta access way before release. But i guess they dont need to test the strain as they will go off of what they know with uncharted 3 unsure but excited :)

That's a good point, but I'd have thought if was just going to be survivors vs infected they could have revealed a little without giving out more story information than they already have :p Oh well, it's only 11 days away now, sure I can just wait a little longer! But like TheVoice said, I'll be getting this solely for the Single Player too, if the MP turns out to be any good it'll just be the icing on the cake :D

ANd yea same here! I rarely play games more than once but this is going to be a platinum chase for sure just like the uncharteds have been for me!

Im 1 trophy off the uncharted 2 platinum and thats to play on crushing but id have to play on hard again first as im on a new ps3 and lost my old save :(
