The Last Of Us

I'll probably play it through on the hardest available difficulty initially, I imagine having a small amount of ammo, stronger enemies and less help from the game will make it more tense and add to the atmosphere. :)
 
I don't know, having to pop 10 rounds into someone before they drop might have the opposite effect.
 
I'll be playing on hard aswell, im going to turn that looking through walls thing off aswell, if playing on hard doesn't already do it.
 
One of the guys on PlayStation Access said that Normal was reasonably challenging in itself. Still not sure which I'll go for, Hard would be good but like ZG002 says, if the enemies turn into bullet sponges (as they do in Uncharted to some extent) it'll ruin the feel of the game.

Game for some reason have just cancelled my PO for the Ellie edition, sent them a strongly worded email to sort it as it's now sold out from their store. Can the Joel edition still be found?
 
Wow, that's pretty bad if they've just done it for no reason, and just another reason why these retailer-exclusive editions are a bad thing.

Green Man Gaming might still have the Joel Edition.
 
Never heard of them, what are they like for getting PO's delivered to you on the day of release?

Let's see a picture of your 'promo copy' then as is required when discussing full versions of unreleased games.
 
I played the demo last night; ok not what I expected at all. Now I’ve played the demo I was left – no that can’t be it. As in, no don’t end now it was too short, and you simply cannot go all guns blazing and you need to have your wits about you.

Graphically it’s very nice, but the gameplay is where it’s at. I can see this being a great story.

Only a few more days to go, 14th will be wait for postman, play last of us, stop go to cinema watch Man of steel come home play more Last of us. In between getting moaned at by missus no doubt.. lol Friday evening is meant to be our date nights, taking her to see man of steel – man v gf. Man wins, pays later..!! lol

You do know whats involved with getting your PS3 to run copied games yes? Once you have managed that you do then know whats involved with getting your hacked PS3 to actually run new releases yes?

Hence my comment that only a very very small minority of PS3 owners will actually run a hacked console, because its a pain in the backside to maintain a working hack.

You can't just go and buy a PS3 today and hack it to run copied games. Its a simple as that.
