With PS+, Steam sales and cheap end of generation games in general, I rarely spend more than a few £ on a game these days but I will be buying this game

Edge staff get their hands on a demo of this today. The more I read about it the more excited I am getting. It's going to be so great!

Usually I don't care about that stuff, but I was actually quite interested in getting this if it wasn't too expensive. Turns out the Joel/Ellie Editions will come with a mini version of it anyway.

I was in HMV and the new God of War game has a sticker saying it has a demo of the Last of Us.

Yeah, comes out two weeks before the game I think, so not sure when/if regular people will get it.

Though I doubt I'd play it anyway, I'd rather enjoy the whole thing from the start.

Same here. I've stopped viewing anything to do with it now and I don't want to play the demo either. I've seen enough and know enough about Naughty Dog to know that I want this game more than any other coming out this year.

With the possible exception of GTA5!

Theres still the multiplayer that we havent seen, im more for just the single player on these exclusives but if it offers something new, ill give it a shot!

Maybe thats what the demo will be? Im sure it needs beta testing etc

That would make sense actually. Isn't that what they did with Uncharted 2 or 3?

Never really did play the MP elements of either of those games, were they actually any good?

Is anyone here really bothered about the multiplayer on this game? I've played a bit on Uncharted 2 & 3 but it never really sucked me in, thought the single player game was much better.

Same here. I think devs are nervous to release games without MP because it's such a big thing to many people.

I've played and completed all 3 Uncharted games and didn't even consider the MP. Like all games of this type, it's all about the story (for me, anyway).

The U2 MP was pretty good (I only did the co-op stuff), didnt do much of U3 though. Im not a fan of MP, but anything co-op based is always a welcome addition even if it doesnt retread the SP mode.

They are still heavily supporting uncharted 3s multiplayer of which itself hasnjust gone free to play in a way

They have remainded constantly patching and adding stuff and has turned out to be less of a tacked on experiance than in may have seemed as first!

I dont pkay it much myself anymore though

I just hope this ISNT just tacked on like the god of war stuff but then again some people are enjoying that

Just been watching this again:

Still looks superb and I still can't wati. However, having now played Bioshock Infinite and seeing the amount that was cut and changed from the earlier gameplay previews in that, I can't help but feel a little more cynical about what they've shown is and whether the final game will live up to it. We shall see.

This is going to one of the few last games I dust the PS3 off for and get and will most certainly enjoy from the looks of it until PS4 is released.

If it hadn't been for Uncharted 1, 2 and 3, along with a select few other titles the PS3 would have been sold long ago, this is another one of those rare games that isn't never going to see the light on PC and is perfectly suited to PS3...

Been looking forward to this one.

So did anyone buy the new GOW and has access to the demo? Think you can access the demo from 31st May right?

Also, which edition/pack do you folks think is best to pre-order? Just seen the sights and sounds pack is £35 and I'm tempted to pre-order...
