The Last Of Us

So what does this update actually update? If its borking saves then I'm staying vanilla until a new patch comes out as the game ran fine for me yesterday.

It does and it doesn't. It's a rollercoaster of a game and you do bond and care for the characters how far in are you?

I was wondering that, I can only assume it sends telemetry data back (as most games do now) about the game being saved etc and that it was getting stuck somehow.

Good thing it's an easy fix though, if it required a patch you'd be looking at at least a couple of days I suspect.
 
At dinner time me and a mate decided to try the MP, not expecting much... just got off it now, it's brilliant!

It's a very slow paced shooter, nice change from the usual popular games today. The crafting system is implemented in it too from the single player. It can be a very tactical game, moving from spot to spot to get supplies, and team work is really key.

Would definitely recommend, chuck me a friend request if you'd be up for it sometime.

Yeah is very slow, does not really pick up much but it does seem a bit better in after 3/4 hours, it's more story/character driven than action.

Feeling the same to be honest. Isn't grabbing me like uncharted 2/3 did just yet. Sure it will.
 
I'm fuming. Played about 3 hours, went to save and it just said "Auto saving. Please wait" and did nothing and wouldn't let me manually save.

Have to start from the beginning all over again. I nearly snapped my pad in half. I cant be bothered playing the same 3 hours again.
 
Just played the first two hrs... And got the lovely auto save bug, last save that worked was 6 mins in. FFS

Been waiting for this game for so long, gonna wait for a patch I think as it's ruined my experience so far :(

No patch needed problem was with ND servers and is now fixed.
 
omg unbelievable, i came home just now to see a chunky brown paperbox. im shocked because i never would have thought id get it today. the only reason i ordered from tesco was because of the offer and because i didnt mind getting it 6 days late like my last order bops 2.

if i wanted this game on release i would never have ordered from tesco.
 
Well my game was waiting for me in the post box (thanks Amazon). Not given it a go yet. Looking forward to a couple of long sessions over the weekend :)
 
This save bug sounds pretty rough :( I would feel sick if I put three hours into a game only to have to start from the beginning! :eek:
 
They were collecting statistics and borked me game. Started again now as problem is fixed. Gonna speed run it.
