If anyone is still interested in this, a limited time coupon has been released that applies all quest packs released over the past 13 years to your account for free. Moreover, the first 7 expansions will be put on sale for a trivial amount of in-game currency soon. I believe DDO is also doing something similar.

I started playing again as i remembered i had a lifetime subscription, and i can buy all the expansions with the LOTRO currency that's been stacking up for years on my account.

I'm only missing Minas Morgul currently, as it's not available in the store.

Are you sure? I bought in in the store in March this year, which is when they said it would be released for lifers. Unless it's since been removed from the store, you should be able to grab it.

The expansion can currently be played for free (all content is this way atm), as a consequence it does not appear in the store for you to be able to purchase.

Anyone still playing this. I downloaded it the other day and had a few hours on it. Transferred by characters to the new 64bit servers.

I log in every few months to see how many LoTRO points I've accumulated and to catch up on new content. Have just done the server transfer from Laurelin to the new 64bit Meriadoc. Also have a few characters on Mordor Epic server as well.

I have it installed as have lifetime VIP.

But struggle to get back into it.

New 64bit server might entice me though

I love this game and have played it on and off since day one, but the UI needs an overhaul, it's challenging on a big display now.

Thats one thing I noticed, the UI is difficult to see on a larger screen.

I've moved from Laurelin to Meriadoc. Meriadoc seems pretty busy, I logged in the other night after an outage and the world chat was none stop.
