Just had to google that - not a footy fan these days. I think it might be getting returned now though now you've said thatNo wonder they couldn't sell them, looks like the Lashers away kit
Not to mention that it is to be seen nowhere on the store or in this thread. I'm now torn between keeping it and not looking at my rig or returning it and being without the upgrade.
It will although with the VR headset on I wont see it. Just what were Gigabyte thinking when they designed this. Was just kidding, will it be visible in your case ?
Absolutely agree but think I got too excited with the price and didn't spend enough time bothering to check properly on Gigabyte's site to realise this was a mistake. The thing about the image illustration though is that is fine and I accept that but that doesn't take into account the product title being completely wrong. Giga never made a 1080Ti Turbo OC. Only the 1080 Turbo got the OC treatment. That's quite a mistake listing a card that doesn't exist with photos of 2 cards which dont look anything like this one.If you notice the small print within the web page of the card.

It's a blower card, you don't by them for looks. Stick it in and start your gaming or mining.
Should make a nice leg/foot warmer too.
Card with the small single fan like this one is a blower. They suck the air in throught the top of the card and then 'blow' the hot air out of the back of the case. And the air coming out the back of the case does get very warm. My 980Ti's blow rather warm air out of the back even when the card is idle.TWO HARIBO?! You must have gotten mine - I’ll send you my address in trust so that we can resolve this easy mistake amicably
In all seriousness - If my case had a window, I would be bothered - but mine is all closed up and as long as it works like expected, I wouldn’t be too worried. I personally don’t think it looks too bad - certainly not the sexiest I’ve seen though
I’ve heard this term a bit in this thread - What is the difference between a “blower” card and a “3 fan card” or whatever the alternative is called.
AMD RX 580 and 570 vouchers will be active later and own thread posted, RX 580 at £299 inc and a 570 at £229 inc which is a good £100 plus cheaper than anywhere else.

Is that a positive or a negative? Never heard of the difference honestly.
Pros and cons to both styles really. The blowers tend to be cheaper but they are usually noisy as hell under load but as they shoot the warm air out the back of the case they don't heat the rest of the case. The fan style cards recirculate the warm air into the case and leave the case fans to exhaust it. Your case can have a big impact on which is more suitable, you wouldn't really want a big blower running hot inside a tiny ITX case for example whereas the blower gets rid of the heat out the back.Is that a positive or a negative? Blowers are generally considered to not cool the card quite so well, but they are very popular with those with smaller cases as they vent the hot air from the case quickly.

You can get adaptors? They're both digital standards so you couldn't lose anything.Looks like I'll have to return the Strix. I game in surround with Gsync and it won't do that with only having 2 display ports.
Shame
Guys, how many 8pin connectors RADEON RX VEGA 56 NITRO+ has?
On the picture, I see 2x8pin's, on reviews I watched there was 3x8pin's?
