Ten Hag is the only real option. Let him clear out and build a team of cheap but willing youth players.

I have never rated Poch. He did well at Spurs due to a special blend of players he had who should have won more. When you look back at their team in the 15/16 season it was immense really. Bottled the league to Leicester and ultimately failed to build upon that. Remember Ndombele was his big signing who ended up being a flop. He is another Brendan Rodgers. A good manager who might win a cup but is still a level below Klopp and Guardiola.

This the same Pep that threw away a champions league final?
It's the same Pep that has coached three of the biggest clubs in Spanish, German and English leagues. Won multiple titles and cups and arguably demonstrated some of the best club football seen in the last 30 years. Kind of silly to be churlish about losing a CL Final.

Cup competitions can always have upsets. Liverpool 05, Manchester 99. We love the fairytales but the fact is both were extremely jammy.

100 point prem season is a different kettle of fish entirely.

I mean we finished on 99 points after cruising the last few games of the season lmao. 26 wins and one draw from the first 27 games winning the title in 31 games setting another record is absolutely insane.

Pep in managing the biggest clubs in said leagues so is expected to win the league shocker. Shame he bottled it when it matters...

Didn't Klopp lose like 5 finals in a row before finally winning one via the medium of getting Spurs as the opponent?

Much as I hate to admit it, you're on very dodgy ground trying to claim Pep isn't a top manager by just pulling out the result of a single match.

So Lingard has come out and basically called Ragnick a liar, this after Martial did the same thing, what on earth is going on with you lot?

Loads of tweets about RR contradicting players (Lingard and Martial) and people calling RR a liar, well, it does work both ways. They could be liars. To be honest, blocking the transfer/loan or whatever because of the MG situation is a good call and suggesting Lingard has time off to clear his head would be good. Lingard has been linked to clubs, pulled left right and centre so no doubt he needs some time. It all takes its toll on you. Players have massive followings in social media, managers not so, especially I would assume RR. What the players say tends to be canon to the masses of followers, regardless of whether it true or not.

Edit:Just seen the press conference, him staying was about the clubs not agreeing a deal or sorts. Not MG.

Either RR is struggling to communicate accurately or the players are getting pissy that someone isn't making excuses for them.

There is definitely a space where both sides aren't lying. When the player doesn't want to play but isn't refusing.

Where did Lingard call RR a liar?

He has just come out (like Martial did) to say that they are 100% committed to United and would never refuse to play or train. Both times after RR said that they didn't want to come back immediately or be part of the match day squad.

This is why Lingard should have been allowed to go. He’s just another waster who will cause problems in the squad.
Yeh blame the board for over ruling the manager Ralph wanted to let him go also wanted a new midfielder but the board said he didn't need one the board that knows more about football than any manager they get in my opinion no manager will succeed here until this board is gone

Apparently United are offering a replacement anyone who bought a shirt with Greenwood on it from their official shop or direct from Adidas. Nice gesture from the club.

That isn't what Rangnick said, he said "the same is true with Jesse if we could give him a couple of days off to clear his mind. He will be back in training on Monday and part of the whole squad." Jesse then said "The club advised me to have time off due to personal reasons!" which doesn't mean either are lying
